Hot News: Beautiful Women Are Bad For Men’s Health

Meet beautiful women can be bad for men's health, according to scientists.

Recent study from the University of Valencia, one of the oldest and largest university in Spain, says that, if a man spend five minutes alone with a beautiful woman can increase levels of cortisol, the stress hormones in human body. This effect is increased in men who believe that women are "beyond their reach." Cortisol produced by the body that suffered physical or psychological stress and has been linked to heart disease. How is it possible?

Telegraph Newspaper reports, the researchers tested 84 male students by asking them to sit in a room and solve Sudoku puzzles. Two people, who are completely strange one to another, one male and one female, were also there in the room. When the woman leave the room and two men were still sitting there, stress levels both male volunteers did not appear. However, when a young male volunteers leave alone with a beautiful strange woman, his cortisol levels rise.

The researchers concluded, "In this study, we assess that for most men, the presence of a pretty woman can cause the perception that there is an opportunity for courtship. But, at the same time, some men might avoid women who are physically attractive because they think, 'there's no chance for me to go out with these women'. The majority will respond with anxiety and a hormonal response in unison. This study shows that male cortisol levels increased after a brief social contact for five minutes with an attractive young woman."

Cortisol is a hormone, produced by the adrenal gland when the body is under stress. Cortisol is released as part of your daily hormonal cycle, but it can also be released in reaction to perceived stress as part of the body’s fight-or-flight response that is essential for survival. Cortisol helps your body more effective at producing glucose from proteins, and is designed to help quickly increase the body’s energy in times of stress. But stress–both physical and emotional-–can lead us to a constant state of excess cortisol production. Excess cortisol stimulates glucose production. This excess glucose then typically is converted into fat, ending up as stored fat in your body. Also, elevated levels of cortisol can exacerbate chronic health conditions, such as trigger heart disease, diabetes, hypertension, impotence, and causing deep wrinkles.

The following blog is extremely useful for additional follow up information on the subject and I particularly found the section on maximuscle cyclone alternatives very helpful indeed.
